Panda Express

Here's a brand new recipes that Chris and I are going to be trying this week, but if anyone wants to try it before we get around to it. Let us know how it turns out. I'll be posting something next week letting everyone know how it tastes. It looks so good!

Panda Express Orange Chicken

This recipe came to us from the Principal of the school where Nicki's kids attend. She sent it our way and we were hooked! I will confess that this is a meal I have to know ahead of time I am going to make, because it has several steps, but they're not hard and the result is definitely worth the time it takes to make it! YUMMY!

Chicken:
2 lg. chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces.
(Sprinke with garlic salt and let sit about 15 minutes)
Dip chicken pieces in cornstarch, then into 1 egg beaten w/1 Tbs. water
Fry in grease until golden brown

Sauce:
1 C. sugar
1 T. flour
1/3 C. vinegar
1/3 C. ketchup
1/4 C. chicken broth
1 T. season salt
2 T. soy sauce
**Mix & microwave for 5 minutes, stirring half way through.
**Pour sauce over chicken
**Bake uncovered at 350 until hot and bubbly

  1. David and I make orange chicken all the time. Our recipe is a little different and we don't deep fry ours. One of our favorites! Have fun making it and even more fun eating it!
