A Sweet Visitor!

Chris mtom came to visit us last week for the weekend. And it was awesome, we really didn't want her to leave, but soon enough we'll be taking up residence in their new home.

Terri got into town on Friday afternoon and we took her to her hotel so that she could check in and take up her luggage. I had planned a busy busy day and I wasn't sure she would have enough time to check in later and boy was I right. After checking her in, we went back to our cute little apartment and took her on a short tour of the place. We sat around and visited for a while before heading out to Rexburg!

We stopped by our old apartment to get checked out and to never return!!! It felt so wonderful to finally be out. We needed to stop by our storage unit to get the last little bit in. Terri was so wonderful with all of our little stops. After these little errands we took her to the local farmers market and it was great! We walked around and showed her to all of our favorite booths.

There are some fantastic booths at the market this year. Our favorite is one that makes head bows, bibs, and infant/toddler t-shirts. We've bought a couple of times from them. I'll have to post some pictures of some of the things that we've bought from them. Another booth we really like is one that does pulled pork sandwiches. We've done dinner there a few times and also bought some BBQ sauce from them and it is so tasty. After dinner we headed back to Idaho Falls to drop Terri off at her hotel, with her being two hours ahead she was really starting to feel her jet lag and was so tired!

Saturday was a much more relaxed day. It was so much fun! We spent the day at our apartment eating and just enjoying each others company. Saturday was also our day for presents. Gran had gotten this book for Brenden. One of those cute recordable books. Brenden loves it! She also brought some outfits for Aria that are super cute. ANd something that we will be using for Aria's Blessing outfit. Its gt a nice story that goes with it. Chris grandmother, Penny, had made blessing dressing for all of her children to put their children in on blessing day. Well, my mother-in-law never had a daughter, well until me so there was no baby girl to bless. Now we have our little baby Aria and she will be the first one to be blessed in it and we couldn't be more excited to share this!

We all woke up early on Sunday and went to Church together. It was great! We took Brenden to Nursery together, which he loves. It was sad that Aria was so messy that day. Chris had to change her three different times and even take her home for a new dress and then after he came back with her, she got sick all over her Gran. We got home and it was naptime for everyone. Once Brenden woke up from his nap, it was time to color some. Brenden loves to color, we even colored a little something for Gran. I hope she liked it.

Monday, Terri had to go back home. I really loved having my mother-in-law in town. And she loves Brenden and Aria so much. It just makes me so happy to have her in town with us. I'm so glad she came for the weekend and took plenty of pictures of our kiddos! I'm excited to move to D.C. in a few months and get to spend more time with her. I'm excited for her to spend more time with her grandkids. I'm sure she feels like she misses out on a lot. I think it will be great! And I miss spending time with her, so maybe its just me being a little selfish.
